Fabula

Fabula is a voice-controlled storytelling companion for older adults. It conducts gentle, structured interviews and helps people organise and write their life stories on a visual storyboard whiteboard.

Human control and privacy

• Designed the conversation around the Fabula storytelling card framework instead of an open-ended chatbot.
• Built a fully local agent backend with persona control.
• Added zero-shot voice cloning from a 20-second recording.
• Packaged setup as an installable agent skill, avoiding cloud APIs where possible.
